Foam filling
Corilla Plastics has the equipment, capability and expertise to foam fill for specialist applications. Our range of marker and mooring buoys can be pressure filled using two part marine grade polyurethane foam.
Corilla foam filled products:
- won't lose buoyancy
- resist the attack of marine growth
- are durable
- are lightweight
- have added strength
- are unaffected by salt or freshwater
- are none corrosive
- are less prone to rocking
- do not water-log
Common applications where we regularly use this process are for:
- marker & mooring buoys
- filling voids
- flotation enhancement
- boats / canoes / kayaks
- where additional strength is required
