Corilla Plastics is at the forefront of the innovative technology that is seeing the replacement of metal navigation buoys by plastic. The company is leading the developmental design and manufacturing techniques that are supplying the next generation of permanent navigational buoys. Used in situations ranging from rivers and ‘dry-out’, through harbour and coastal to offshore and deep water and being sold to port and navigation authorities, including Trinity House, worldwide, Corilla’s Global Marine division is the market leader in this field.

Navigational buoys have to be reliable, durable and flexible, with high visibility and low maintenance, and that’s what Corilla Global Marine buoys offer. Our buoys don’t rust, don’t need painting and can easily be jet cleaned at sea and returned into position, reducing the dependence on expensive buoy maintenance yards and sand-blasting operations. They’re foam filled, so they don’t sink if damaged.

Lighter plastic buoys also mean lighter moorings and further potential cost benefits. Chain wear is greatly reduced, lowering costs and minimizing the risk of the buoys breaking away and getting washed up on the beaches or disappearing out to sea.

Corilla manufacture both off-the-shelf and tailor made to clients' specifications, meeting the demands of ISO 9001:2000.

Corilla has also developed and supplies market leading lanterns, radar reflectors and mooring solutions for all our buoys, as well as a range of power options for all Corilla, EM navigation buoys and shore based structures and towers.

Dredging: our unique pipe collars lock together to give your dredging pipe-work exceptional buoyancy.
